Anchor Club

Today was the informational meeting for prospective members. It took less than 20 minutes for the club sponsor (also my science teacher) to show us the PowerPoint on her club. I have a couple (literally two) friends who are interested in joining, so it should be fun. The catch is that we have to fill out an application form, do a few things, and hope that we have enough points in the end to make it into the club because they accept the highest scores. It shouldn't be impossibly difficult since there aren't that many people who are applying. This is because CHS offers a variety of "service clubs" and you can't be in more than one at a time. In addition to that, this is one of the smaller clubs.
I even have dark blue shoes with tiny yellow stars and actual yellow ANCHORS on them Too bad the Anchor colors are green and yellow. (Packers! =)
I finally finished the preparation essay for my final exam for World History! It's almost the end! But not quite... I have to make approximately a 50% on my final exam if I want an A in the class or something along those lines. Maybe more. I don't know. I better not make a 50% or anything near that, though.
This year's MAO banquet theme is superheroes. My friends and I have no idea how to dress up as superheroes. Ryan was thinking about dressing up as Ronald Reagan, and knowing his political enthusiasm, he probably would. He wanted the theme to be pirates, though. The whole idea was so spontaneous. At the end of the elections, Mr. F just asked the entire room, and someone yelled "superheroes" more loudly than Ryan said "pirates!", so the theme became superheroes. Last year it was "emo".
