Toque el Piano

Today, I was at school for almost twelve hours- from 7:35am to past 7pm.
After school, we served detention in Mr. F's room for such and such by making his room and the adjoining Mr. G's room cleaner.
For 50 minutes after this, I spent my time in a chorus practice room playing the piano.
Then, from 5-7pm, we had our orchestra rehearsal. We played "From Walt Disney Pictures' and Walden Media's THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe". I got the PIANO/CELESTA part, which involved counting measure for as much as 23 measures of rest at a time. With the percussions and the woodwinds, this piece really sounds explosive. Too bad the we can't play in together and in tune. After we played the piece through once, I quickly got a Violin 1 part so I wouldn't actually have to count out all the measures of rest. It was much more fun playing the piano part because no one else was and because it was fun to be loud =) I just wasn't very important-ish.
This weekend includes a TSYO rehearsal, violin lesson, writing the essay for the history final exam (YES!), another TSYO rehearsal, hours without end of more TSYO, the TSYO concert, hopefully doing the final exam, a huge poetry project for English, and other miscellaneous assignments.
