Erica: Can I be the godmother?

Ryan: Ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted a baby. I imagined it would have my eyes and the father's smile. That was until I found out that I could not have children anymore. Becoming the baby's godmother would allow me to almost live this dream more easily than adopting or stealing a child. As said godmother, I would visit the child every day and bring Cheez-it's. Children love me, too. No, not like that!

Later...
Ryan: wait im the grandfather anyway? so i dont need to be godmother
me: ummm
fightinchicken26: i wrote that paragraph for nuthin
me: too late youre already in the running
fightinchicken26: im gonna spoil your child rotten
but i thought i was out
me: haha true
fightinchicken26: should i stay or should i go

Even Later...
fightinchicken26: no
she is not
nor is brianna
im in it to win it
10:29 PM i plan on writing themed entries for the blog now
for each class
like 1st period i will write for an entry about the baby in spanish
coincidentally the same time we learn words like dar a luz
10:30 PM in 2nd i will write like the events are history european style
nothing for 3rd no essays in tennis
me: oh my goodness you are dedicated
fightinchicken26: 4th i will write about the chemical composition of the baby
me: oh gosh.
fightinchicken26: 5th i will make statistical conclusions about the baby
me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
10:31 PM fightinchicken26: in 6th i will write about the baby's slant asymptotes
and in 7th i will take a page from winsetts book and write it in her creative writing style from college
10:34 PM so whos it going to be?

Even later later...
fightinchicken26: IF I BECOME GODMOTHER
I COULD BE THE BABYS FAIRY GODMOTHER
OMG OMG OMG
me: uh oh
fightinchicken26: LIKE IN CINDERELLA
AFTER ALL MY DAUGHTER PARKER IS A PRINCESS

Brianna: Why would I make a wonderful godmother? Well, I was a child once. So I think if anything should happen to his parents, I would be qualified to take in little Peter. Sure I don't really like children that much, but I would love this child like my own. And I'm awesome...that should give like 50 points in itself.

Maybe, the worst part is that the latter two have thought of... names.

Runnin' down the avenue...

Mr. Blue Sky is definitely one of the happiest songs I've ever heard. Some of us agree that it makes you smile, even when you're extraordinarily depressed.
Yesterday, the MAO practice was relatively successful. For the first hour or so after we settled down, almost all of us worked on math problems, albeit not all for Mu Alpha Theta. Logan decided to form brackets so we could have a ping pong tournament. As you may have predicted, practices brings us near perfection, as Yige pretty much dominated his way through the games. Lost and Found: Brandon's jacket, Jerrod's answer sheet, Carolyn's work, Yige's pencil... I think that's it.
Logan approached me about a JCL-related idea he and Roland had, and how honorable it is to provide any aspect of aid to a club with which I continually feel involved without actually being in it.

Oh, and I'm happy.

The drama!

I'm playing this... and runiteking1 uploaded his concerto, so here goes the peer pressure.

You poor, poor boy.

Today, our math sponsor asked me for Joseph's cell phone number after I dictated it and it didn't match the one in his phone. The poor kid.
It's pretty exciting to be reading the latest installment in the Redwall Series. I only recently read Taggerung because of the FCAT and NRT, which I successfully finished today.
So there's a certain someone who will be going to state Brain Bowl tournament who is hoping to stare at a certain other someone's lips during the entire half-hour-long-ish opening awards ceremony. We'll hear how that goes. Or, I will.
Good luck with your endeavors, and have a very nice Pi Day tomorrow by buying pie from us.

Everyone else was doing it. On Facebook.

I didn't bother with all the quotation marks around the song titles.

"Soundtrack of My Life"
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool..

Opening Credits : Piano Concerto No. 2, Movement 2 by Rachmaninoff [So this wasn't really random because I didn't realize I could just chose a random one first... Yeah, I was slow.]

Waking Up To: Drunk Girl by Something Corporate [I hope not.]

First Day At School: Where We Went Wrong by The Hush Sound [Yeah, pretty much.]

Falling In Love: We Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel [Well, I don't love history.]

Breaking Up: The Weather Girl by Shiny Toy Guns [Okay?]

Prom: St. Jimmy by Green Day [Interesting. I don't think I could dance to that. If I could dance.]

Life's Okay: Believe Me Natalie by The Killers [This one is telling Natalie something about her last chance... not so "Okay."]

Mental Breakdown: We Intertwined by The Hush Sound [This song has a happy tune.]

Driving: American Idiot by Green Day [Sure.]

Flashback: I Want You to Need Me by Celine Dion [I don't get this.]

Getting Back Together: Ai No Uta [That's Japanese for Song of Love from an InuYasha movie.]

Birth of A Child: Glamorous by Fergie [That's just wrong.]

Wedding Song: Getting Ready by David Benoit [Um that's a Charlie Brown song.]

Final Battle: Crazy by Simple Plan [I don't know how this fits.]

Death Scene: Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion [Or this one.]

Funeral: You're So Damn Hot by OK Go [This is about as off as could be.]

Say! Hey!

Relief poured all over me after I finished my call with the Physics teacher. The oral component didn't involve any difficult questioning. Next, I took a test and got all of the multiple choice correct. Thankful doesn't even begin to brush the surface.
The Chiles Regional was extremely relaxed, or so I thought. I finally got out of bed at about 8:00am. In the auditorium, Clara gave me her roll sheet, and it was easily finished. For some reason, June and Sarah weren't on the list, so I made scantrons form them with the ID numbers that Ms. Underwood gave me.
Settling into Mr. Gamache's Spanish/AP French room, Brianna decided to tell the entire room that she wanted to know our names. Almost everyone gave her a name, whether it was Bob, Amazing, or Watch Your Face. The test was kind of killer. We mainly groaned as we passed up our scantrons.

Later: Brianna: Oh and by the way can you believe that dude in our room who thought he could out-superhero me?

The sunny day was quickly forgotten when the cold wind bit us menacingly, waiting for the first round of teams to finish in the cafeteria. I got the Stat team stopwatch, but unknowingly, Ryan got the Algebra II team stopwatch, so we had two for a while. Clara nicely asked for one. We never actually used ours.
Team round was almost entirely dominated by "that's what she said" jokes, and an occasional "that's what he said." Ryan wrote an inappropriate quote for #4, William turned it in, and eventually Freed came and said we would "be dead" if it happened again. Past that, I was the cap'n, and we managed to get the most points in the round.
Soon, it was lunch time, and I made sure my mother met about five people who were in line behind me, including Yige, Ryan, Ryan, Jerrod, Lisa, and Joseph. Thanks to Yige's dad, we entered the line later and procured free food for being Chiles kids.
Jerrod and I realized we had about two hours to do absolutely nothing. We ended up walking around the right side of the school, and stayed at the hill until people began to come back from their off-campus-ness and ping-pong-at-Jeremy's-ness.
The awards ceremony opened with an extremely loud and blaring powerpoint with something like the Backstreet Boys. Maybe it was.
Marshall and William were at a band performance, so Jack ended up going up for Marshall, who ended up beating Eli and getting first place.
Diana pretty much dominated the Stats test.
I was indescribably surprised. "Kejing Jaiang Lawton Chiles" Heck yes. Rickards beat us, though, and at sweepstakes too.
It felt like a school day as I got back home around 4:30pm and began to do homework.

Thanks to the people like Brianna and Sarah who cheered outrageously.

Slow Dance.

I got this from looking through my old Yahoo Mail! emails.

SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

Awesome job to the more talented MAO kids at Chiles, and buena suerte manana!

HECK yes.

That's actually my status right now.
Happy International Hug-an-Asian Day! I must have gotten about twenty today, not including the people who hugged more than once. It was funny to be bombarded for a while this morning, although I didn't actually hug anyone.
As someone who is really nervous about grades, today was a very good day. Five of my teacher uploaded our scores today, and they were as good as I could hope. In addition to that, we got our NHS acceptance letters today. Of course, it's not really impossible to do such a thing, but it brightened my mood... almost as much as the sun brightened the day.
Actually, I don't have anything exciting to add. It was nice to observe how lighthearted people were today; not a single person complained [to me] today because they seemed to be doing just fine. Pretty sweet.

Yes, blogging!

The AntiSymantec viral software just sent a notification. Apparently another trojan is now in quarantine.
My piano teacher wants me to play Bach because it is like the Bible of music. Basically, if you make a tiny mistake with about one note, everyone can easily tell you did because of the style, as with Mozart.
Going to lessons provides about an hour or more to think about life while listening to music. This can get rather depressing after a while if all the songs seem to be remorseful or regretful. It's also a good time to stare out the window, looking at the reflections that various Summerbrooke ponds cause throughout the neighborhood, or staring at the sky. Alternatively, one can think about speeding down Meridian on a dark night (was that redundant?), completely in control but so bordering a fatal turn. Although, thoughts can't get really violent if one's mother continues to put on the CD with your favorite piano concertos and decides it wasn't loud enough already, so you have to turn off the iPod because there really is no way to listen to Rachmaninoff and The Killers at once.

hoh4britaccents: so whats you up to?
me: blogging
you?
hoh4britaccents: blogging?
