Happiness

I finished the pirated version of The Persuit of Happyness today. It was very touching. The only major flaw is that their clothing was very, very perfect and their bathrooms were spotless. In face, their bathrooms were far better than my grandmother's in China. So I didn't feel as much emotion towards the movie. It was a but fake :( Before that, I saw the Queen, which was kind of boring but it caught my attention because I was in England when Princess Diana died.
This reminds me of when I saw the pirated version of POTC1 the summer before 8th grade. It was pretty awesome!
And THAT leads me to say: Jack, June, and Ryan (in alphabetical order by first name because I always put people in that order to be fair) should have seen POTC3 by now.
I really want to see Ocean's Thirteen, too. Explosions, hacking and stalking in one movie (Ocean's Eleven) was perfection. The second one was really disappointing. I saw the first one on the way to China (and back, I think) thanks to United Airlines because everyone had their own personal screen with which to watch movies. Northwest has three large screens, which leads to 16 or more hours of absolute boredom. I was relying on the little screen to keep my frontal lobe alive.
Instead, I must look forward to an oddly-shaped chair with static electricity-hoarding blankets, writing a math test for Pre-Algebra (which isn't bad but the problem is I forgot the superhero who is the topic for the test... must ask Ann... Heh...), slowly using up the battery in my precious but inconvenient mp3 player, and hopefully reading a good book (if I can get one).
I have musical duties now o.0

Unfortunately,

A lot of people seem to be either depressed, sick, or bored at this point. The first week trickled in some boredom, but by now, people have gotten the stomach flu, sat around at home for weeks, slept late and hated it, and haven't psychologically felt any better.
I feel really bad about not finding enough presents for people. For example, one person wants sunglasses. How do I know how wide his head is??? x.x
And then there are the random people who really deserve something. I suppose I need more opportunities to go shopping.
At least Ryan seems to constistently be in good moods. His love for Gwen Stefani will never cease. :D

8:29am Tues. 5/29/07 Shanghai, CHN

I still can't believe I have internet connection. It's pretty awesome.
I'm also talking to Katelyn and Jack with Gmail chat. It's 8:30pm for them since we're 12 hours apart. Yay.

Yay for math *cough cough*

I don't feel like I'm leaving this country tomorrow at 6:15am EST. Which means that me, my mom, my bro, Diana, her mom, and her bro have to wake up at about 4:00am. Why are airports always at the edge of the city? So you can't hack into the control centers so conveniently. I know. It's sad. The probably have their own little world out there so. Their wireless connections and private servers are as far away as possible. Paranoid. But for good reason.
I never expected my first MAO test to be for Pre-Algebra, but it is. I have to go and research... Oh no... I forgot which.. ARGH. Sometimes I wish I were a genius so I wouldn't forget things. = ="

Downloading

Downloading gets SO annoying because each song takes about 30 minutes. The problem is, sometimes, they either label it incorrectly, you download something you hate, or you already have the song but they named it differently.
It gets so annoying.
I wish I'd stalked the files before downloading them. It would've saved me so much time.

The End.

The end of the world...
-Ryan decided to do his homework today
-I finished Freshman year without killing any Floridians (but I came close)
Oh my Darhwin. The Floridians have some stupid rule about no backpacks the last week of school because they're afraid you're going to bomb the school or something. So they tell you to put it in Student Affairs. Yeah, like we don't all want to destroy the administration building. Don't take this as a bomb threat... The world has enough of those.
Another point. Why are there bomb threats? Why would anyone threaten or foretell of a bombing? What's the point of that? Don't terrorists like the SURPRISED look on people's faces when things explode? Why tell everyone about it? That is soooo stupid IMO. Although, empty threats do get by pretty well. Especially in rich, paranoid countries who are still afraid of Communism if you take a vague look at the South.
I don't know how I'm going to get by in high school. Every day brings another little (or significant) event that makes me want to BLOW UP the rich conservatives even more. It's soooo annoying... ARGH!

Rose, Maia, Henry, Zach V., Zach W-D, and a few others got SECOND PLACE IN THE NATION at the last Rocketry competition in Virginia!!!! =D They met astronauts, shook hands with the Secretary of Defense (I think), and got onto the internet. Awesome stuff like that.

Now Blogger saves your post automatically!

YES!
Finally!
I'm not as worried any more.
I don't know how often it saves, though.

It's time to pack and potentially relax for the summer. I don't know how easily relaxing will be, but I can always try.

It just saved. How wonderful.
"Draft autosaved at 2:07 PM"
I like this.

This isn't a very well-known song, but "Whatsername" by Green Day is pretty awesome.

Facebook has proven to be very addicting these days.

"Draft autosaved at 2:08 PM"

So it saves every minute? That would be nice.

Yesterday I realized how much I want to leave high school so I can forget Florida sooner. But Caltech would never accept me... or MIT. LOL. My dreams are too big.

Awards

Tomorrow is the Underclass Awards Ceremony. I hope something happy happens.

Oh dear... My stolen wireless connection is being wimpy on Gmail. This is highly disappointing.

Nothing especially brilliant happened today. I have technically completed Orchestra, Spanish 2, Life Management Skills, and E/S Science because I got those exempted today. Freed won't sign my form until Friday which is bad because we have no 2nd period class because of the ceremony.
We emptied out our gym and hallway lockers today.
Yesterday, I found out how to open Ryan's locker because I watched him open it. I regret not looking months beforehand. It is too late now. I opened it again during 5th period when we were supposed to go clean them out but he'd already removed everything. =(

Excited

1. I'm stealing wireless and it hasn't happened for a loong time.
2. Pre-AP Chem and Pre-AP Bio at the same time next year
3. Memorizing Odyssey stuff because I didn't want to listen in class
4. Reading three chapters of Earth/Space because I didn't want to study yesterday
5. Big math test tomorrow
6. Not getting my exemption signatures until the day it's due because some teachers are weird like that
7. MAO Banquet tomorrow night 6:30 to about 9
8. Thursday and Friday we watch "Napoleon Dynamite" in Spanish and I'm one of the few people who's never seen it before
9. Monday I bring back two textbooks (math and science) since they're getting new Spanish textbooks for next year so
10. I "get to" keep my the old Spanish I/Spanish II textbook
11. Gifted English- finally (next year)
12. Packing for China
13. Knowing that my class rank is pathetic and won't go up unless I take like 6 more APs than everyone else which we all realize is physically impossible
14. My myopia is getting more severe
15. Contacts this summer? Maybe?
16. Getting my permit after sophomore year starts because I'm not legally capable of that until my 15th birthday
17. The screen of my watch got scratched. It draws attention away from the time and date and seconds and day of the week
18. We have more than 400 guys on Jack's list of boyfriends
19. That's about 5 full pages but I'm not checking to give an accurate set of quantifiable information
20. I GOT INTO ANCHOR CLUB!
21. Yesterday, we got carnations (mainly yellow) in 2nd period. I got a yellow one. The head fell off... =/ The meeting was also after school yesterday.
22. The wireless is still working.
23. Mwahahahahaha.

From elyrics.net

Someone I know really needs to hear this song.
Um you probably shouldn't analyze it with me in it because I certainly didn't break up with anyone. =/

Because Of You lyrics

I will not make the same mistakes that you did
I will not let myself
Cause my heart so much misery
I will not break the way you did,
You fell so hard
I've learned the hard way
To never let it get that far

Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you
I am afraid

I lose my way
And it's not too long before you point it out
I cannot cry
Because I know that's weakness in your eyes
I'm forced to fake
A smile, a laugh everyday of my life
My heart can't possibly break
When it wasn't even whole to start with

Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you
I am afraid

I watched you die
I heard you cry every night in your sleep
I was so young
You should have known better than to lean on me
You never thought of anyone else
You just saw your pain
And now I cry in the middle of the night
For the same damn thing

Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I try my hardest just to forget everything
Because of you
I don't know how to let anyone else in
Because of you
I'm ashamed of my life because it's empty
Because of you
I am afraid

Because of you
Because of you
