NMSQT

Gator-fil-A has several non-profit organizations.
They include JIG, PSAT, and The NMSQT.
JIG= Jack Isn't Ghetto.
I'll post what the other two are after Diana finds out. However, I don't know when that'll be. But since Diana seems to be the only one reading this these days, it doesn't really matter.
Maybe if I can change this into the Gator-fil-A official blog. Hmmm... But it'll still be my personal blog, of course.

blocks are fun

Yesterday was my IQ test. All I know is that I'm not a genius and I passed the 100 mark. Actually, I can't be sure I passed the 100 mark. I can only hope I did...
I got a ring pop from Diana's lil bro today! My experiment will start after I talk to my Gator-fil-A VP.
I should be studying Romeo and Juliet and finishing up my 150-point art project but I'm not. Oh well. I have a few hours left.
Exams are starting this Friday, but for me, they start next Monday because I don't have a first period class. My counselor replyed my email and said that she will tell me when my schedule is changed so it sounds promising that I'll have Orchestra! :D

gifted test tomorrow

I'm pretty nervous...
14 more hours...
Well
actually
less.
more like
13 hours and 42 minutes...
Yeah...
Oh no.
How can I pass this?
No one takes it in HIGH SCHOOL!
-.-
I have no choice.
Well,
if they give me Orchestra,
I'll have eight classes anyways.
*sigh*

my fingers are numb...

Great. I actually have to wait until I can practice the piano because my fingers are so cold. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll snow. That sounded incredibly optimisitic.
Today, I got pictures of the company people so I've started the December 2006 General Report.
Oops. I accidentally published this post for some reasonn. I'm in the process of "editing" it right now.
We have to do projects in Art, but the problem is, we have to show the teacher all of our skill and creativity, and she has high expectations for me but I can't think of anything to make the drawing more creative. It's kind of like writer's block.

I've founded yet another non-profit organization of Gator-fil-A. It's called PSAT. And it's not the Preliminary SAT or the NMSQT.

Off to dinner! :D

JIG (Jack Isn't Ghetto)

Yes, I changed it from SAJAG to JIG. This is because SAJAG is obviously very odd to say.
However, it is safer since the there is no "I" to change to "is" instead of "isn't".
Today, this "ghetto" white kid who lives in a rich neighborhood, or "hood", as he likes to call it, brought his chain to school. A few guys passed it around and wore it. It was odd. Two others acted ghetto, too, one of which is the vice president (currently second-in-command) of Gator-fil-A. I haven't promoted him yet because once you promote someone like that, either you kill him or you can't really change his status any more. And he never did the comics he was going to. And he tried to be ghetto today.
Interesting... I am currently using Gmail Talk with the person who had a "Deny Everything." shirt from the National Spy Museum. That was the foundation of my math motto. Oh look- he left. He had bio homework. Everyone has bio homework these days. I actually feel extremely left out even though everyone has to work very hard for bio homework. Why don't I get to work hard??? I will next year, though. And if I get into gifted and orchestra, I'll have 8 classes with gifted math and english added to my schedule. I already have gifted science because the gifted people are all in bio. Bio bio bio bio bio... I'm starting to hate biology. It has never directly made my life happier.
Mei, I thank you very much for putting my name in my blog. I feel so special again!!!!!!! You're one of the only two people who consistantly reads my blog, and there's one other person who does but doesn't very often because she gets to do bio homework instead -.- So unfair. I have to do Bio in sophomore year! I would've NEVER anticipated such bad luck in 8th grade.

Pretty please with a Wii on top?

I know this is REALLY random(and so is the title), but here's my favorite poem.

Smart
By: Shel Silverstein
My dad gave me one dollar bill
'Cause I'm his smartest son,
And I swapped it for two shiny quarters
'Cause two is more than one!
And then I took the quarters
And traded them to Lou
For three dimes-I guess he don't know
That three is more than two!
Just then, along came old blind Bates
And just 'cause he can't see
He gave me four nickels for my three dimes,
And four is more than three!
And I took the nickels to Hiram Coombs
Down at the seed-feed store,
And the fool gave me five pennies for them,
And five is more than four!
And then I went and showed my dad,
And he got red in the cheeks
And closed his eyes and shook his head-
Too proud of me to speak!

We took the Dostal/Nunn tests today. Algebra 2 and below took Nunn, Pre-calc and above took Dostal.
Diana and I thought we failed. William did wonderfully like always. Ryan was pretty confident when he realized that the only person who did better than him was William, and also since I couldn't've done better than him at all ^^. June left in the middle of it, so I don't think he got a 120... Lol. Jack drew food on his test again. Shuyao was miserable and I felt really, really bad for her. But she disputed against William and was correct! :D
So.... Today, I've proven that Diana is better at math than me. See, Ryan did better than me on the Nunn test, and Diana beat Ryan at Rickards. See? Valid proof. Hehe. All of it is true.

SAJAG (Society Against Jack Acting Ghetto)

Here are some random events that took place at the Rickards Preseasonal. As I was writing the post that day, I managed to leave out a lot.At the auditorium for the first time:First thing my "cousin" said after Diana ecstatically introduced us and had listed all reasons why she thought we were related: "Hi, June."The tests:We all seriously realized that we really needed to learn how to find the constant term of an expansion. Or was it just me?Disputing for Algebra 2 Individual:Ryan decided that if he couldn't think of a wonderful way to dispute a problem, the answer would be to crumple up the half-sheet of paper and chuck it at Diana. Then, he told me to throw it away. So I did, because I also had other garbage to abandon at Rickards. Later, as Diana was "retaking" the test by "reliving" it by "recreating" it by talking about all the problems she missed, she realized that the problem he had crumpled up was actually seriously flawed. She started freaking out like crazy- even more than she already was.Lunch:I went over to the table with Jack, June, Ryan, and William. I had ordered a mango smoothie. Then, Shuyao came over with a strawberry smoothie. Ryan asked my why I got a yellow smoothie and not a red one (like Shuyao's) because red is better. I said, "Red and yellow- what do you get when you put them together?"Ryan innocently asked, "Green?" I immediately started laughing, and about 5 seconds later, he said, "Oh, wait- no- orange! Wait, why do you want to make orange?" Shuyao and I looked at him, thinking, "Wow- he's slooow." About minute later, I took out my wallet and showed him the Chinese flag.At the auditorium during the awards ceremony:It actually took a while for all of pre-algebra to be announced. From the end of pre-algebra to geometry, June started doing the Seminole chop. Jack said, "NO!!!" and started doing his Gator thing. As an onlooker, it seemed like June was trying to slice Jack open as Jack frantically made jaw movements with his arms. Diana said, "Stop it, you guys! I'm serious!! STOP!!" They didn't listen.
This morning: I asked how she managed to make former team captain number 2 disappear both from the scoring list and from MAO practice yesterday and she just said, "Kejiiiiiing!"She thought I'd actually found his allergies or blown him up or something. I just congratulated her, since I certainly hadn't done anything. When we got to school, I retrieved my trophies from my locker because Mr. F told me to show Mr. S. So I went there. Oh great. He hadn't come to work yet. So we walked back to put the trophies back and yes, Mr. S was at school.Yesterday, I'd brought them and he wasn't there. The whole thing is stupid. Sorry, Diana, David, Jack, William, Ryan, Shuyao, Sonal's math teacher. I was so impatient that I remembered when David saw them and immediately asked me if I was going to make them into bombs, and pondered over it, but Diana informed me of how bad of an idea was, so I just said, "Fine..."
It seems like Diana is the only one who reads this blog. I should put stuff she doesn't know on here. Let's see...
At the auditorium not too long after our group of loud people met up with each other:My stomach started feeling horrible, and no one truly cared except Sonal, so she showed me where the bathroom was.Sonal: I hope this is the woman's one.We walk right in front of it. Sonal: Yes! Me: Thank you so much!! Me: Um... I can't open the door. Sonal tries. Me: I think it's locked...x.xBut my stomach felt better after I walked around a bit, thankfully, or I might've gotten a lower score than June. Which is saying something, because he got something like a 3 and a -9. In the beginning of the school year, he told me his lowest was an 11 or something. He laughed, but I didn't. He realized I didn't know how MAO scores were scored. He told me. I felt sorry for him. Well, now his record is a -9!Record lowest, that is.Later, I went back (before the awards ceremony), and it wasn't locked anymore.
I'll add more if I think of them. For now, it's off to wash the dishes and then practice piano.

math tutoring- tues. and wed. in the irc

Today was my first day of math tutoring. When I arrived after school to the IRC, I waited for about 15 minutes for the math teacher to come. I ended up helping some person with Algebra 2. He was in Mr. F's Honors/Gifted class. So unfair. I won't be tutoring tomorrow since Algebra 2 MAO meets on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I don't think Mr. F would be too happy if I just... Didn't show up.
But helping people with something you really like is fun ^^. And no one needs help with piano.
We have a test on earthquakes tomorrow in science. I find that insulting. We did earth/space topics in 7th grade. And our stuff was harder and more work, too. According to my current teacher, our textbooks are at an 11th and 12th grade level. I find this hard to believe. But if it's supposed to be that difficult, no wonder the US is completely useless when it comes to education. And they only have good universities and colleges because they have the money to BUY all the best professors and materials and campuses and maintenence.
Yesterday, I found out how to write my last name in traditional Chinese. That was interesting. I can't believe I never learned it. It looks odd with two tian2's, though.
Wow, this post and the last post are so boring. Sorry about that and the fact that you wasted your valuable homework time to read this.
I don't have any really good news to share right now, except for the fact that I don't think I'm extremely hungry right now! *proud*
Oh right- we used bioelectrical impedence or however you spell it in Personal Fitness today to measure our body percent fat. I got about 20%. Which is interesting. I think my hands were supposed to hold the machine tighter because it measures how quickly the electricity goes through you... And I kind of moved my arms (a lot) so it probably effected the number even more. Oops. Ah well- even 20% is healthy, so I don't think I have to worry.

a pathetic sonata

I have a new piano piece- the first movement of Beethoven's "Pathetique" Sonata! I'm SO happy!!! It is such a famous piece and I'm really thankful that my teacher thinks I have a chance ^^.
My weekend was pretty cool :D. It's hard to come by these happy times since I'm neither here nor there...
Wow.. I haven't solved my Rubik's Cube for a while now. I think it was because two of the blue squares completely came off so they look white, except I went over it with blue Sharpie so it's still dark blue but it's a bit off, and the texture of the color just isn't replaceable.
I can't wait until school tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!! We have MAO practice on Mondays and Wednesdays!!!!!!!!!!!!

piano recital tomorrow and i haven't practiced all day

I'm using the fact that newer posts go at the top to my advantage.
If you're going to read my extremely long "Dispute Everything." post, you should know this before you read the thing:
When I was taking the tests, I did about half and then guessed on the rest. I'm not kidding. Yes, I guessed. Mr. F's shocked face when I told him that was pretty scary. He looked almost mad. It wasn't the best thing to do... Heh heh.....
And don't you say "whatever" because it's true. So, I don't see how the whole thing turned out the way it did.
And the Rickards Algebra II team sure is weird... No one could beat the four at team or individual. If you read the post, you'll get more soporific details about that and the rest of my day.
